yes it was way better when we had to watch all cutscenes when we wanted to replay a mission. That has never been the case, in order to skip cinematics previously, you just had to pause in middle of the cinematic, and there was a button saying "Skip cinematic", you'd press it, and boom, it would jump straight into the action.
